Bootcamps this week (23rd-26th) will be in the cafeteria due to floor waxing.
There will be an iTunes gift card drawing for all students signed up for bootcamp at each session. - Must be present to win.
When students return to school this fall, they will be issued a new iPad. Here is a list of things you must complete before receiving your iPad.
All students will receive an iPad. However, if you wish to take the iPad home or off school property, you must pay an insurance fee of $35. In order to help expidite the process, you may send payment to the business office.
Before you can receive your iPad, all students will be required to attend a short iPad bootcamp with their parent or guardian and the insurance fee must be paid in full. Parents with multiple students may register all their students for 1 session. Register for a bootcamp date now.
All students must have their own unique Apple ID. An Apple ID is a full email address. You can set this up through iTunes. CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD ITUNES.
Many students may currently share an Apple ID with siblings or parents. However, each student must have their own unique Apple ID before receiving a school issued iPad. Remember, we will be buying the Apps you will need for class. It is to your benefit to have your own Apple ID so you can keep them as you go on to college when you graduate.
The school will provide all the Apps needed for classes.
Students are responsible for any other iTunes purchases not required by Northwest Public Schools. ie: Apps, Music, Movies, etc...
If you have any other questions, please e-mail me. Brian Gibson bgibson@ginw.org
